Jan 23, Frozen iguanas have been falling from trees in Florida after plunging temperatures caused them to stiffen-up and lose their grip on branches. The cold-blooded lizards slow down or become immobile when temperatures drop to 4C (40F).
Be forewarned, it could be quite tricky to move an iguana once it starts coming back to life.

The large lizards, which thrive best in higher, sub-tropical temperatures, go into a type of hibernation when the temperature drops below 40F.
